On September 13, the Jiangsu Energy Regulatory Office notified the operation of Jiangsu’s power in August 2021. From January to August 2021, Jiangsu’s new power generation capacity will be 6,491,900 kilowatts, of which thermal power is 2.69 million kilowatts, nuclear power is 1.118 million kilowatts, and wind power is 1.5269 million. 1. Power generation in the whole province
As of the end of August, the province’s installed capacity of solar mounting structure was 14,7253.6 million kilowatts, including 124.7927 million kilowatts for integrated power plants and 22,460,900 kilowatts for non-integrated power plants.
In August, the province’s power generation was 55.097 billion kWh, a year-on-year decrease of 0.13%. The cumulative power generation from January to August was 395.695 billion kWh, a year-on-year increase of 20.44%. Among them, the cumulatively regulated power plants totaled 361.162 billion kWh, a year-on-year increase of 21.98%, and the non-uniformly regulated power plants totaled 34.533 billion kWh, a year-on-year increase of 6.34%.
From January to August, the province’s accumulated average utilization hours for power generation was 2731 hours, an increase of 285 hours year-on-year. Among them, the cumulative average utilization hours of integrated power plants were 2,936 hours, a year-on-year increase of 340 hours.
2. Electricity consumption in the whole province
In August, the total electricity consumption of the whole society was 69.131 billion kwh, a year-on-year decrease of 1.66%; from January to August, the total electricity consumption of the whole society was 477.99 billion kwh, an increase of 16.75% from the same period last year.
The highest load for dispatching electricity this year was 12,214,800 kilowatts, a year-on-year increase of 4.59%.
3. Power construction
From January to August, the newly added power generation capacity was 6,491,900 kilowatts, including 2,699,000 kilowatts of thermal power, 1,118 kilowatts of nuclear power, 1,526,900 kilowatts of wind power, and 1,157,100 kilowatts of solar bracket power generation.
From January to August, the power grid construction added a line length of 110 kV and above 3075.28 kilometers and a substation capacity of 21.745 million kVA.
